Shah Alam - Is your business unable to budget more for marketing due to the economic downturn? Thank you for the work. 2X has a solution.
In an exclusive interview with Sina Daily, 2X CEO and HR Director Seo Mi Young emphasized that even with a tight budget, influencer marketing is still possible.
“2X still offers a solution where you can do influencer marketing on a budget because we are marketing to Malaysian talent,” he said.
2X marketing companies focus on business-to-business (B2B) instead of taking the traditional business-to-consumer (B2C) approach.
B2C marketing is for the public, non-business people, while B2B marketing is for businesses.
"B2C buyers buy products because of packaging, etc., but B2B buyers buy products to save money and labor costs," Seo said.
Because the target markets are different, consumer behavior differs between the two marketing methods.
“B2C buyers are very exciting; If you buy one perfume, you may want to buy another.
"On the other hand, B2B buyers are realistic. So if you want to sell something to a B2B buyer, you have to be very realistic," he said.
This makes it more difficult for B2B to attract buyers than B2C, since you have to convince more knowledgeable consumers, Seo added.
"Therefore, people working in the B2B industry need to be more intelligent and analytical and more transparent in targeting the customer," Seo explained.
With extensive capabilities in marketing, digital campaigns, graphic design, content creation, copywriting, web management, research, analytics and end-to-end marketing technology, 2X enables clients to adopt a global operating model and innovate their marketing mix.
