The price of the cheapest gasoline in York fell more than seven cents a litre.
The cheapest place to refuel for petrol and diesel this week was Asda, Monks Cross, at 174.7 pence for petrol and 184.7 pence for diesel.
That's 7.2 pence less than the 181.9 pence at Shell's York Road garage last week, according to the Petrol Prices app.
Last week the cheapest price for diesel was 190.7 pence a liter on Morrison Fosse Island Road, down six pence this week.

The RAC Fuel Clock , which shows the latest UK fuel price data, shows that the cheapest fuel price in York is lower than the latest UK average petrol price, while the Average diesel in the UK is at its highest, prices are cheapest in York.
York's most expensive petrol station this week is London Bridge SF Connection on Tadcaster Road with petrol at 192.9 pence per liter and diesel at 199.9 pence per litre.
