Immersing the community in accessible art forms has always been the goal of the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra. The all-volunteer enterprise will celebrate its 32nd season this year with a variety of symphonic music.

"We are thrilled to bring a variety of symphonic music to Fort Bend," said Music Director and Conductor Dominic Royem. "Not just the usual Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, but everything from musical theater to film scores and the usual classical repertoire."

With an orchestra and choir made up of people from all walks of life, Fort Bend residents can hear music performed by their peers. Auditions are held year-round and are open to adults only, with occasional special permission for high school students who wish to join.

The beginning of the season
