Report: Advanced Influencer Marketing Delivers Greater Revenue

CreatorIQ, an end-to-end creator marketing platform, released findings from its Article Creators Report, which shows a direct correlation between direct influence investment and increased ROI.

According to a report by independent research firm Aberdeen Strategy & Research, brands with more sophisticated influencer marketing programs underperform their competitors with less sophisticated influencer marketing programs.

Influencer marketing leaders in the top 20% of brands, based on impressions, engagements, conversions and annual revenue associated with influencer marketing efforts, achieved more than 80% year-over-year improvement in KPIs across all growth stages. smallpox These top influencer marketers have seen:

  • 9.1x more impressions
  • Participation is multiplied by 8.2.
  • The conversion rate has increased by 11.7 times.

The study found significant year-over-year growth in customer loyalty, brand attitude, customer satisfaction and average customer margins among the top 20 percent of brands.

Perhaps most importantly, the deployment of influencer marketing led to a 6.2x year-over-year increase in revenue, with a ROCS of $4.70 per dollar spent on marketing programs.

As a result, brands in the top 20% of influencer marketing spend say they plan to invest an average of 30% more in marketing programs going forward. While brands have increased spending on digital advertising and physical marketing over the past year, the report shows that brands plan to increase their investment in physical marketing 13 percent more than in digital advertising.

"Now is the time to take and expand Creator's marketing efforts," said Tim Sauvy, director of business development and partnerships at Creator IQ. "And the more advanced brands increase their influencer marketing efforts, the more space they create between themselves and their competitors, including revenue. The Creators Power Release study is based on a survey of more than 200 US and UK marketing executives: beauty, consumer electronics/consumer products, gaming, media/entertainment, retail/fashion and food/beverage.

The report follows a Creator IQ study that found 67% of marketers reported an increase in creative investment year-over-year, and 76% of those companies diverted money from other marketing activities. This is largely due to advances in measurement solutions, which have helped 94% of organizations understand and connect sales to sales efforts.
